Syrian army destroys Islamic front’s center in Bab al-Hawa region in Idlib

The Syrian army attacked and destroyed the gathering centers of the Islamic Front in Idlib countryside. The army units destroyed a strategic military center of the Islamic Front in Bab Al-Hava border region in Idlib countryside, killing scores of militants and injuring many others. Other Syrian army units attacked several gathering centers of the militants in Al-Neyrab and Sarjeh towns in Idlib countryside. Meantime, the Syrian army destroyed several gathering centers of the militants in Vadi Al-Zeyf military region and near the Kafroumeh and Ma’ar Shamsheh towns. The conflict in Syria started in March 2011, when sporadic pro-reform protests turned into a massive insurgency following the intervention of western and regional states. The unrest, which took in terrorist groups from across Europe, the Middle-East and North Africa, has transpired as one of the bloodiest conflicts in recent history. As the foreign-backed insurgency in Syria continues without an end in sight, the US government has boosted its political and military support to Takfiri extremists. Washington has remained indifferent to warnings by Russia and other world powers about the consequences of arming militant groups.
