A Syrian army unit foiled a suicide operation by terrorists near Bilal Mosque in al-Manshiyeh area in Daraa al-Balad. An official source told SANA that army men destroyed a car loaded with explosives before it could arrive in the densely-populated neighborhood, killing the driver who intended to blast the car and himself in a heavily-populated area. The army said its operation caused no civilian casualties. The source noted that the operation was carried out in cooperation with the residents who informed of the car bomb which was prepared in al-Nakhleh area near al-Sad al-Sharqi in Daraa where terrorist groups affiliated to al-Nusra Front were stationed . Last week, army units also foiled terrorists' attempts to detonate a car bomb in the same area.
