Syrian community in Canada, Switzerland show solidarity with motherland

The Syrian community members in Canada and Switzerland organized rallies and sit-ins in solidarity with motherland, Syria and in appreciation of the sacrifices of the Syrian army in the battle against terrorism. A mass rally took place outside the Canadian parliament in Toronto under the motto ''Hands off Syria''. The participants expressed great appreciation for the Syrian army and the homeland's martyrs who fell in defense of Syria. Human rights activists also took part in the rally. In Switzerland, the Syrian community, along with Lebanese and Iraqi nationals and a number of Turkish community members who oppose the policies of Recep Tayyip Erdogan's government organized a mass rally in Basel city in support of the Syrian leadership, people and army. Speeches were delivered that divulged the dimensions and goals of the conspiracy against Syria and the role of Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Erdogan's government in it.
