Syria’s Foreign Minister Walid al Muallem met here today with visiting Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili. Talks during the meeting dealt with the Syrian government’s proposal to end the crisis according to the Kofi Annan the six-point peace plan for Syria. Syrian President Bashar al-Assad earlier today met with the Iranian official upon his arrival from Lebanon.
