A strike at Syria on the part of the U.S. might bring up dire consequences for the whole of the Middle East, Syrian Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi said Sunday. Al Jazeera quoted him as saying the U.S. Administration will be unable to shelter itself under the slogans of fighting with terrorism this time and a strike at Syria will be very different from taking a stroll in the park. Al-Zoubi warned that an attack will trigger a full-blown response and the entire Middle East will be coated by flames eventually. He also said once again that the Syrian governmental troops did not use chemical weaponry and that it is ready to cooperate with the UN chemical inspectors. Al-Zoubi said a unit of the Syrian Army had tracked down a depot in Joubara near Damascus where someone had been storing numerous plastic containers with chemicals produced in Saudi Arabia.
