The Syrian opposition delegation participating in the Geneva talks will meet with the United Nations (UN) Special Envoy to Syria Staffan de Mistura Sunday to discuss the guarantees of the UN pertaining to the humanitarian conditions of the war-hit Arab country.
Supreme Negotiations Council member Abdel Hakim Bashar said that the humanitarian issues will be the first case to be tackled with de Mistura, noting that the opposition demands halting shelling the civilians, allowing the humanitarian aid to enter Syria and releasing the female prisoners.
Spokesperson for the Supreme Negotiations Council Salem al Musallat stressed that Bashar al Assad should release the women and children detained in the government prisons.
