Syrian President Bashar al-Assad discussed during a meeting here today with Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs Adnan Mansour relations between the two countries and ways of developing them. They also discussed the situation in Lebanon after the formation of the new government, in addition to the situation in Syria. Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) said the Lebanese foreign minister expressed his country''s outright refusal of the foreign attempts of intervention in Syria''s internal affairs, stressing that Lebanon''s stability is inseparable from the stability of Syria. For his part , Al-Assad said Syria is marching ahead on the path of reform in firm steps, adding that dealing with the outlaws with precedents who cut off roads, block cities and terrorize the people is the duty of the state to protect the safety and lives of its citizens.
