Syrian shells hit Lebanon border town

Four shells struck Lebanon's eastern border town of Masharih al-Qaa Thursday as a result of heavy clashes between Syrian government forces and rebels inside Syria, security sources said. No damage or causalities were reported, the sources added. Masharih al-Qaa has witnessed similar shelling incidents in the wake of the crisis in Lebanon’s neighbor. Some of the attacks have led to fatalities. Lebanon has adopted a policy of dissociating itself from developments in Syria. From DailyStar
