
Technical delegations of Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia held separate meetings on Monday to take a second look on contracts to be signed with the two French consulting offices that will conduct the technical studies on Ethiopia's Renaissance Dam.
The meetings were held ahead of the 12th meeting of the tripartite committee, due to start later in the day.
The contracts will be signed in initials today and will be signed in final at an official ceremony on Tuesday.
Irrigation and Water Resources Minister Mohamed Abdel Aati is currently visiting Sudan to attend the 12th meeting of the committee on Ethiopia's Renaissance Dam.
During the meetings, Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia will sign a deal with the two French companies "BRL" and "Artelia". The UK-based law firm "Corbett" was selected to manage the legal affairs of the tripartite committee.
