Teenager injured by tear gas canister

A 17-year-old Palestinian Wednesday was severely injured by a gas bomb canister shot at him at close range by Israeli soldiers during confrontations in al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron, according to the injured Palestinian’s father. The father of Alaa al-Balasi told WAFA that Israeli soldiers stormed the camp, leading to confrontations between them and the residents, during which soldiers fired a tear gas canister directly at al-Balasi from a distance of 5 meters, causing him severe burns. He was transferred to hospital for treatment.
