
Tehran Saturday strongly condemned the terrorist attack with mortar on the shrine of al-Sayyeda Zainab in Damascus countryside. Spokesman of the Iranian foreign Ministry Abbas Araqchi denounced the terrorist act on the shrine which was crowded with the visitors and prayers, Iranian Mehr news agency reported. Araqchi called on the international organizations, particularly the Islamic bodies to assume their responsibilities, protect the Islamic sanctities. A mortar shell launched by terrorists fell on the surrounding of al-Sayyeda Zainab shrine in Damascus countryside on Friday, causing the martyrdom of the Shrine administrative director Anas Romani while many others were wounded.
