
Togolese President Faure Gnassingbé lauded relations between his country and Egypt in the different domains.
Gnassingbé expressed desire for increasing investments of the Egyptian companies in the major development projects in Togo.
The remarks were made in a message from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to the Togolese president.
The message was delivered by presidential assistant for national and strategic projects Ibrahim Mahlab.
Mahlab met with Togolese Prime Minister Komi Sélom Klassou and the speaker of the Togolese parliament.
Mahlab and his accompanying delegation also toured Lome airport and the maritime port accompanied by the Togolese transport minister to review projects there.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Arab Contractors company Mohsen Salah said that the company has been working in Togo for a year now.
The company improved the national road in Lome and implements medical clinics and pharmacies for contributing to transferring medical expertise to Togo, Salah said.
Several road projects in Togo are being studied, he said.
