
Egyptian Ambassador to Togo met on Wednesday with Togolese Presidential Adviser for Legal Affairs Charles Debbasch, according to a statement by the Foreign Ministry.
The meeting took up efforts exerted by Togo to form a new government and means of bolstering the Egyptian-Togolese relations.
Debbasch said Togolese President Faure Gnassingbé is looking forward to meeting with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi soon and to beef up the Egyptian presence in the development projects carried out by Togo in the coming phase.
The Egyptian ambassador also met with COS of Togo Telecom and discussed with him means of promoting relations in the communications field.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian ambassador held a breakfast banquet for the Egyptian community in Togo and conveyed to them a greeting cable for President Sisi. He also asserted the necessity of exerting all efforts to correct the wrong image about Egypt abroad.
