
Head of the Egyptian Tourism Office in Berlin Mohammad Abdel Gabar said German Ambassador in Berlin Badr Abdel Attei opened on Tuesday a meeting organized by the Tourism office in the Embassy grouping around 50 representatives of tourism companies and airliners.
Addressing the meeting, the ambassador asserted the Egyptian government's commitment to providing maximum levels of security to German tourists.
He pointed out that the German government has not put any hurdles in the face of resuming the travel of German tourists to Egypt, urging German companies to promote for tourism in Egypt especially the remedy tourism in Siwa, Farafara as well as entertainment tourism in Sharm El Sheikh and Marsa Allam.
The ambassador also focused on efforts exerted by Egypt to revive foreign tourism.
The tourism counselor also reviewed the various tourism destinations in Egypt and the Egyptian participation in the Berlin Tourism Bourse.
