Egyptian Tourism Minister Hisham Zaazou opened on Wednesday the Egyptian pavilion in the ITB Berlin, the world's largest tourism trade fair.
The pavilion includes more than 80 Egyptian exhibitors.
The minister is expected to sign today an agreement to set up a tourism bourse in Egypt on a periodical base to serve Egypt, Africa and the Middle East.
He will also hold a press conference on the sidelines of the event to answer queries on tourism in Egypt.
Earlier in the day, Zaazou received Egypt's award for the best tourist destination by the German Travel Industry Club.
He met with German government officials to express appreciation for lifting travel bans to South Sinai.
