Tunisia extended sincere congratulations to the Libyan people for their success in forming a national government, which, it said, constitutes an important stage on the path of establishing a modern state that will achieve the Libyan people's aspirations to freedom, democracy and development, in a stable and peaceful climate. In a Foreign Ministry's statement released on Wednesday, Tunisia reasserts firm will to strengthen consultation and co-operation with Libya and to work with the Libyan government to develop a strategic partnership in all fields, such a partnership that reflects the close fraternity ties binding the Tunisian and Libyan peoples, in the service of their common interests and ambitions.
