Tunisian president meets Indian FM

Tunisian President Mohamed Moncef El-Marzouki met here Monday with the visiting the Indian Foreign Affairs minister Salman Khurshid.During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in various fields. El-Marzouki hoped development of cooperation with India in the field of industrial , mechanical industries , agricultural and pharmaceutical domains , stressing the desire of Tunisia to benefit from the Indian experience in the field of fight poverty .For his part , Khurshid hoped that Tunisia will become an economic gateway for the products of his country towards the European and African markets , expressing India’s readiness to support the transition in Tunisia .
