Tunisian Interim President Fouad Mebazaa met on Saturday with a delegation of the Libyan National Transitional Council. The two sides discussed the latest developments in both countries. They also discussed the prospects of bilateral ties and means of enhancing bilateral cooperation. Head of the delegation Abdul Hafez Ghouqa said after the meeting to the press that he salutes the Tunisian people for their support of the Libyan revolution. He added that Tunisia was one of the main reasons for the success of the armed revolution in Libya. The delegation also visited Libyans in Tunisia who are receiving medical care to injuries they suffered during the revolution.
