Tunisian president meets US senate member

Tunisian President Mohammed Mouncef Al Marzouki met here Tuesday with US Senate member Robert Corker, who is currently in Tunis. They discussed means to enhance relations between Tunisia and the United States. Corker renewed the US administration’s commitment to the process of democratic transition in Tunisia. He also expressed his confidence that the country will overcome the economic, social and political challenges posed at the moment.
