Five suspects have been arrested for their alleged involvement in an explosion last month near Turkey's southern border that killed 14 people, police said. Today's Zaman said two of the detainees allegedly staged the attack, while the other three aided and abetted the two. Four of the suspects are Syrian, Today's Zaman said, one is Turkish. The suspects said individuals connected to Syria's intelligence agency paid them $35,000 for their work and said commands came from Ammid Havvas, the commander of armed forces in the Syrian army. The five suspects were referred to an Adana court, Today's Zaman said, and police are still searching for one more suspect. The explosion last month killed 14 people, including three Turkish citizens, and injured 28.
