Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement to condemn the attack in Pakistan. Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) on Monday condemned the weekend's bomb attack in Pakistan which left at least 45 people dead and many others wounded. In a statement released on Monday, the Turkish MFA said that it learned with deep sadness that a massive car bombing attack took place in the city of Karachi on Sunday. "We strongly condemn such attacks which are targeting the security and stability of Pakistan, wish God's mercy upon those killed, and offer condolences to the families of the victims, and wish speedy recovery to those wounded. On the occasion of this tragic event, we express once again our solidarity with the friendly and brotherly government and people of Pakistan," it said. The ministry also underlined that the general elections would strengthen Pakistan's democracy, domestic peace and stability in the country.
