Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag has condemned the prevention of Palestinian laborers' from travelling on the same buses as Israeli citizens. Bozdag said, "The fact that Palestine people are not allowed to get on some buses in Israel is a clear racism and discrimination. I condemn the practice to which the whole world keeps silent." Bozdag told AA correspondent that the renovation around Kaaba has been carried out by a Turkish company specialized in restoration of historical monuments. Bozdag said the Ottoman porticos were taken apart in order to be re-assembled in a better way. He added, "It is out of the question that porticos surrounding Kaaba are taken apart and sent somewhere else. They will only be repositioned somewhere in Kaaba again." About the issue of Israel's destruction of some historical buildings around Al-Aqsa, Bozdag said the historical monuments belong to humanity. "All the people have to protect the monuments. Those who spoke up when the historical monuments in Mali were destroyed need to stand against Israel's destruction of the historical monuments in a similar way."
