Turkey halts consular services in Damascus

Turkey has said it would halt some consular services in Damascus next week. The Turkish Foreign Ministry on Friday also urged its citizens in Syria to return home, citing serious security risks. Consular services at the Turkish embassy in Damascus will be halted in the evening on March 22. The Turkish embassy in Damascus and the consulate in Aleppo remain open.
