
The Turkish military dispatched reinforcement units to the areas bordering Syria on Thursday. The Turkish military sent reinforcements to the security forces' leadership, which is adjacent to the Syrian borders in Suruc district of Sanliurfa province, south of Turkey, according to Ihlas News Agency. The agency said that a number of tanks loaded with 20 armors in Sanliurfa were sent amid tight security to the village of Oncupinar near the Syrian territories, adding that the military reinforcement units were stationed around the security forces' leadership center in Suruc. The Turkish military deployed during the current year a number of brigades and army vehicles around the Syrian borders and held several maneuvers to ensure the readiness of its troops stationed in the area.
