
Government spokesman Bulent Arinc stated Monday on Turkish general staff's statements on the withdrawal of terrorists from Turkey and said it did not bring the 'solution process' to failure. Speaking after the Turkish cabinet of ministers meeting, Arinc, upon Turkish general staff's statements on terrorists' withdrawal from Turkey, said, "The statement is not a fact, which brings the solution process to failure. It's not right to say that there is a negativity in the process." Arinc also touched on the freed policeman, who killed Gezi Park protestor Ethem Sarisuluk and said, "Judiciary quest continues. If it was caused on purpose, the court will decide." He also stated on the opening chapter process of Turkey for EU membership and said that "no country should politicize the EU process of Turkey". Arinc added a statement on recent incidents on social media and the fake Twitter accounts, used during the Gezi Park protests, stating, "Places of those who're claimed to have committed crime through Twitter could not be identified." Finally, he added that "Turkish PM Erdogan held a telephone call with US President Obama on Monday at 17.00 hours."
