Turkey's Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc has said on Monday, friendship of Turkey and Sudan has roots in history. Arinc came together with Speaker of Sudan National Parliament, Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Tahir and his delegation in Ankara on Monday. Arinc mentioned that Al-Tahir is visiting Turkey at an invitation by Turkey's Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek and that they were happy to receive Al-Tahir and his delegation. Arinc added that when he was the speaker of the parliament, he got a chance to work with Al-Tahir and there were reciprocal visits held. "The friendship of Turkey and Sudan has roots in history. Both countries' people love each other. We have improved our friendship over the years. We have strong relations between governments and parliaments. Hopefully, we these visits, relations will get better," stated Arinc.
