Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Israeli Justice Minister Tzipi Livni discussed Mavi Marmara issue on the phone on Monday. They decided that the Foreign Ministry officials of both countries would meet and discuss the compensation which would be paid by Israel for the victims of Mavi Marmara raid. The officials were planned to gather in coming days. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu apologized to Turkish people on March 22 during a phone conversation with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan for an Israeli raid on the "Mavi Marmara" aid ship which resulted in the killing of nine Turks in May 2010.
