Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Tuesday attended the Arab League's 24th Ordinary Summit in the Qatari capital of Doha and held talks with Lebanese President Michel Sulayman and President of Syrian Coalition of Revolutionary & Opposition Forces (SMDK) Moaz al-Khatib. Davutoglu delivered a speech at the opening of the summit. Davutoglu then held talks with Sulayman where he emphasized the importance Turkey attached to the stability of Lebanon and stated that Turkey was always ready to support Lebanon. Also touching on the crisis in Syria, Sulayman stated that Lebanon was hard pressed due to the increasing number of Syrian refugees and needed the support of the international society. Davutoglu also held a meeting with President SMDK Moaz al-Khatib which lasted half an hour.
