Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said Monday that the world could not be silent anymore to the worst massacre of the century in Syria. Turkish FM Davutoglu said in a tweet post that the international community, leaders and intellectuals should take a step about what happened in Syria and stand up to give Syrians a dignified future. Davutoglu’s remarks came after Anadolu Agency’s report on the Syrian war crimes’ evidences. Images and a report by a team of senior war crimes prosecutors obtained by Anadolu Agency show the systematic killing of nearly 11,000 detainees at the hands of Syrian regime forces. Many of the victims show signs of torture. A transition process to stop the bloodshed should be started immediately in Syria, the minister added. "Today we witnessed once again that words are of no use anymore. "Both humanity and Syria should be rescued from this bloody regime," he said. More than 100,000 people have been killed in the three-year-old conflict in Syria, and more than two million Syrians have become refugees in the neighboring countries including Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq, according to the UN.
