Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan called on Libyans for unity and renunciation of dissention, stressing his country's support for Libyan National Transitional Council and its readiness to contribute to building a new Libya. In a speech on the 80th anniversary of the killing of Sheikh of Mujahedeen (Holy Warriors) Omar Al-Mukhtar, Erdogan stressed Turkey's support for the Libyan people in the battle of construction, pointing in this context to the reopening of Turkish Embassy in Tripoli, its consulate in Benghazi and the opening of a second consulate in Misurata.
