Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan started Tuesday a two-day visit to Algeria to boost bilateral cooperation. Erdogan, with a large delegation of government officials and businessmen, was welcomed at the International Airport of Houari Boumedien in Algiers by his Algerian counterpart Abdelmalek Sellal. The two officials held talks and exchanged views on a couple of regional and international issues of common interest, the official APS news agency reported. This visit aims at strengthening bilateral cooperation and reflects the commitment of the two countries to boost their political dialogue and economic relations. A forum of Algerian and Turkish businessmen will be held on the sidelines of Erdogan's visit, in a bid to promote their partnership.
