At least one Turkish soldier was killed in clashes with militants from the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in the southeastern province of Sirnak on Wednesday. The private Cihan news agency reported that along with the soldier, many PKK militants were also killed during the clashes near Altindag village of Sirnak's Beytussebap district. The body of the soldier was brought to Sirnak Military hospital by helicopter. The military operations against the PKK terrorists in Beytussebap are ongoing.
