UAE Consulate in Los Angeles tweets advice to Emirati residents

The UAE Consulate in Los Angeles is advising Emiratis in the US to avoid the wave of protests currently sweeping the nation since the announcement that Donald Trump won the presidential election earlier this week.
The twitter account of the Consulate-General of the United Arab Emirates in LA, @UAEinLA, says that Emiratis in the US should exercise caution and avoid areas where demonstrations are being held where there is a chance of violence and risk of attack.
Verbal and physical attacks on foreigners has increased significantly in recent days.
