A delegation from the Executive Office for Control on Goods in the sisterly United Arab Emirates, accompanied with members of the Kingdom of Bahrain's National Commission for Banning Chemical Weapons, conducted a visit to the General Directorate of Civil Defense (the GDCD). The delegation was briefed by the GDCD's general director on the nature and workflow in the directorate and at the National Center for Resilience and Disaster Management and services provided to citizens and residents. The delegation was also briefed on the duties of the National Commission for Resilience and Disaster Management and its accomplishments since its inception. From their side, members of the visiting UAE's delegation expressed their admiration of the advancement they saw and felt in terms of utilization of latest technologies that ensure promptest and most precise provision of topnotch quality services, wishing the General Directorate of Civil Defense success in performing its tasks.
