
The UAE Embassy in Australia has implemented the Iftar Project, supported by the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, during the holy month of Ramadan, at the parliament headquarters in Sydney.
The Iftar was attended by members of the Australian Government, Islamic communities, people of various ethnicities and UAE students studying in Sydney.
The UAE Ambassador to Australia, Dr. Obaid Al Hairi Salem Al Ketbi, highlighted the role played by the foundation in the charitable and humanitarian work field at the international level, which contributes towards enhancing tolerance and love among various races and religions.
He also added that this embodies noble values, social solidarity and compassion among all segments of society besides opening up prospects of cooperation and strengthening the bonds of love between the two countries.
