
The UAE Embassy in Uganda has begun implementation of the Iftar Project funded by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, Ahmad bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works, and the Emirates Red Crescent, in several regions of Uganda.
Under the auspices of the UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Uganda, Hassan Mohammed Obaid Al Suwaidi, the UAE Embassy is keen to meet the needs of those who are fasting during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The Emirates Red Crescent also distributed 45 tons of dates as part of the grant of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The beneficiaries expressed their thanks and appreciation to the UAE government and people for their continuous generous gestures during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
