Dr. Youssef Al Sabri, the UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Poland, attended Poland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Witold Waszczykowski’s speech on Poland’s diplomatic priorities in 2017.
The event, held in the Sejim (Lower house of the Parliament), was attended by Poland’s President Andrzej Duda, and Prime Minister Beata Szydlo, besides ministers and representatives of diplomatic corps accredited to Poland.
Waszczykowski said the Middle East and North Africa have been flashpoints on the world map for years. At the same time, this area is seen not only in the context of challenges, but also in terms of opportunities, especially in the field of economic co-operation, as evidenced by increased trade with countries such as the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He also added that he plans to visit a number of Middle East and North African countries, including the UAE, in 2017.
