UAE envoy presents credentials to governor-general of Australia

Dr. Obaid Al Hairi Salem Al Ketbi has presented his credentials to General (Rt.) Sir Peter Cosgrove, the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, as the UAE Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Australia.

Al Ketbi conveyed the regards of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to the Governor-General.

He expressed his satisfaction at representing the UAE in Australia, describing relations between the two friendly countries as excellent.

For his part, Sir Peter asked Al Ketbi to convey his warm regards to the UAE President, wishing him good health, and more prosperity for the people of the UAE. He also asked him to convey similar regards to the UAE Vice President and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.

He wished Al Ketbi success in discharging his duties in a way that contributes to upgrading relations between the two countries.
