
UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan received head of the Syrian interim government Ahmad Toma at his office here on Thursday to discuss the latest developments of the situation in Syria. The two sides explored ways to support the Syrian people amid the current crisis, according to an official statement carried by Emirati news agency, WAM.Toma thanked Sheikh Abdullah for the United Arab Emirates' stance in support of the Syrian people, the statement noted. The meeting was attended by Syrian interim government ministers, including Deputy Prime Minister Iyad Qudsi, Minister of Defence Asaad Mustafa, Minister of Energy and Petroleum Elias Warda, Minister of Infrastructure and Agriculture Walid Al-Mohammad and Minister of Culture Taghreed Al Hajili.
