The UAE today strongly condemned the terrorist explosion which rocked capital of Lebanon, Beirut, in which scores of people were killed and wounded. ''The UAE condemns this coward terrorist act, affirms its support for Lebanon and ready to provide whatever assistance that helps it to secure its stability and security,'' said Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, in a statement today. Dr. Gargash stressed that circumstances surrounding the explosion should be unveiled and those behind it should be brought to justice. He called on the international community to take what is necessary to assist Lebanon and support its efforts to preserve its stability. He expressed sympathy for families of the victim and wished speedy recovery for those injured in the incident.
