
The UAE delegation headed by Major General Fares Al Mazrouei, Assistant Foreign Minister for Security and Military Affairs, attended the International Conference on Counter Extremism and Violence at the Italian Ministry of Interior in Rome, on Wednesday.
The conference called for associating police preventive work with the international campaign under the auspices of the United Nations to correct the extreme religious discourse, respond to hate and radical ideas by highlighting the true image of Islam through the use of web feeds.
Al Mazrouei was accompanied by Abdul Rahman Al Neyadi of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Rana Al Dhaheri from the UAE embassy in Rome.
