
UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on Saturday reaffirmed his country's political and economic support for Egypt. He said in statements following talks with visiting Egyptian Prime Minister Hazem El-Beblawi that the provision of economic and political support for Egypt would serve the whole of the Arab world since Egypt is "the heart of the Arab world", the UAE's official news agency (WAM) reported. During the meeting, both officials discussed the overall security, economic and social conditions in Egypt, it added. For his part, the Egyptian premier voiced his country's appreciation for the UAE's support and help to Egypt in order to usher in a stage of political and economic development, security and stability. The premier claimed that Egypt's internal situation was getting back to normalcy thanks to its careful leadership and people, along with the support of sisterly countries, mainly the UAE. El-Beblawi arrived here on Friday starting his first foreign visit since assuming his post early July
