
The United Arab of Emirates warned its citizens on Thursday against traveling to Ukraine on safety grounds due to the current political unrest in that country.Emirati citizens in Ukraine were called on to avoid places of gatherings and demonstrations, and to coordinate with the UAE Embassy in Kiev in order to facilitate their departure, UAE Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Abdullah Al-Hamed was quoted by Emirati news agency, WAM, in a press statement.He stressed the importance of complying with this warning until further notice, urging his country's citizens to stay cautious when traveling overseas, read the travel advice page carefully and to register their names on the ministry's website.
