UAQ ruler hoists UAE flag at Emiri court

H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, expressed his pride to hoist the U.A.E. flag in response to the national campaign launched by the Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to mark Flag Day coinciding with 3rd November, the accession day of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Sheikh Saud expressed his pride of the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the U.A.E.'s loyal people, who work together in order to raise the standing of the U.A.E.. This came as Sheikh Saud hoisted the U.A.E. flag at the Emiri Court to celebrate Flag Day and the anniversary of the accession day of President Sheikh Khalifa to the U.A.E. Presidency. Sheikh Saud said that the celebration of hoisting the U.A.E. flag all over the state is a living embodiment of the nation's unity and an honest expression of the U.A.E. people's sincere love for their wise leadership. Sheikh Saud commended the great achievements in the era of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa in cultural, economic and social fields, which has raised the U.A.E. to achieve a position of high stature in the ranks of developed nations. The aim of the celebration of these two occasions is to promote the sense of belonging for citizens and to deepen the elements of good citizenship and loyalty of the sons of the nation. Present on the occasion were Sheikh Khalid bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Chairman of the Emiri Court in Umm Al Quwain, Sheikh Saif bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Chairman of the UAQ Department of Economic Development, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Vice-President of the UAQ Executive Council, and a number of Sheikhs and senior officials, along with directors of Local and Federal departments in the emirate.
