This came in separate meetings held in London on Friday between Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi and each of UK Foreign Secretary William Hague, Omani Foreign Minister Yusuf bin Alawi, Qatari Foreign Minister Khalid al-Attiyah and Deputy US Secretary of State William Burns. The meetings were held on the sidelines of al-Qirbi's participation in the chairmanship of the 5th Friends of Yemen meeting held on Thursday in London. The officials stressed that the international community will not tolerate hindering the national dialogue conference and will deal strictly with those attempts to deter the transition in Yemen. They also expressed their countries' support to the actions and decisions made by President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi and the Yemeni government aiming to achieve the transition in the country.
