UK police force cuts raise doubts

Newspaper reports in the UK have revealed cuts in emergency section personnel from the British police sector since 2010 indicating 5000 people have been discharged. British newspapers have considered the layoffs a great embarrassment for the government which said that the budget cuts did not affect "front desk service" personnel indicating vital sectors like emergency. The British government has insisted on lowering the police budget by 20%, but the workers' opposition party described such figures as shocking and expressed doubt over the government gaining public trust regarding the public security issue.
