
Ukraine on Tuesday offered condolences to Beijing in the wake of Monday's deadly earthquake in northwest China's Gansu Province, which has killed at least 94 people. In a message sent to Chinese President Xi Jinping, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych expressed support and solidarity of the Ukrainian people with the Chinese people. "We share a sense of grief of those who lost their loved ones," a message of condolences said. Yanukovych also wished speedy recovery to all the injured as a result of the disaster. The devastating earthquake jolted the juncture area of Minxian and Zhangxian counties in the city of Dingxi on Monday morning, leaving 94 people dead and over 1,000 injured.
