Yemeni Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Basindwa received on Sunday a message from UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. The message handed over by UN resident coordinator in Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed dealt with the cooperation relations between Yemen and UN and its organizations in the coming stage, the state-run SABA news agency said. During the meeting, Cheikh told Basindwa that the UN has managed to collect 40 % of Yemen's emergency humanitarian needs according to the prepared plan worth of $450 million. The meeting discussed the humanitarian issues to be discussed in the ministerial meeting of Yemen's friends group in Riyadh as well as the possible aid the UN Peacebuilding Support Office (PBSO) could provide to Yemen currently.
