UN delegation briefed on UAE ministry of interior efforts

The Ministry of Interior and a delegation from the United Nations have reviewed the Ministry's strategy and its experience in the field of promoting and protecting human rights, and efforts related to the achievement of criminal justice. During the meeting, the two parties exchanged views on many issues related to human rights, and the laws in force in the U.A.E. to ensure the protection of rights, and the criminal justice system in the Ministry of Interior and its mechanism of action in cooperation and coordination with judicial authorities. The meeting was attended by senior officials from the two sides.
