The UN Secretary-General's Advisor on Yemen, Jamal bin Omar, highly valued the efforts of President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi in implementing the Gulf initiative and the Security Council resolutions. “We support the efforts of President Hadi in this area, especially that there is a big success in the political processâ€, bin Omar said in a statement to Yemeni news agency "Saba" upon departing Sana’a Sunday, pointing that there are also economic and security challenges and obstacles. The envoy of the United Nations (UN) described the political settlement in Yemen as a successful and unique experience in the region. Bin Omar confirmed that there is a large progress in preparation for the national dialogue process and there is consensus on several issues, expressing his hope that the committee complete its works according to the Presidential Decree. He considered the national dialogue a mechanism for the participation of all parties in the political process, whether the signatories of the Gulf initiative or the parties that have not signed it.
